SH had the pleasure of participating in the construction of the Voxx 405 building, in Itapema/SC. The project is the first by Edific Empreendimentos LTDA in the region and brings modernity and changes to the way of building.
The project is very bold and consists of a prestressed flat slab, an innovative system that brings greater flexibility and agility in its execution, optimizing the formwork and shoring systems and generating a significant reduction in resources and costs.
Voxx is a 25-story project, 20 of which are residential, 4 garages and 1 leisure, and has 11,400 square meters of built area.
One of the main challenges of this work was dealing with the technical complexity and novelty of using prestressed flat slabs in the Itapema/SC region.
With a bold project, the difficulty lay in coordinating the progress of the work between all teams and solution providers, combining different approaches and phases to meet the defined schedule and cost objectives.
SH’s role in this project stands out for providing technical solutions in shoring slabs and beams and re-shoring and also for providing support throughout the construction process. In addition, SH Digital (a platform that allows construction companies to monitor the progress of work in a transparent and efficient way), offers contract management, access to projects and reports on technical visits, among other features. Transparent commercial alignment was a priority, with SH carrying out in-person and virtual visits, ensuring fluid and effective communication between the parties involved, which contributed to the successful construction of the Voxx 405 building.
The solution used by SH to overcome the challenges of the work included:
Advanced shoring technology: State-of-the-art shoring systems such as towers, aluminum profiles and metal profiles for shoring slabs and beams, along with bracing solutions
pillars and beams, in addition to re-shoring. These solutions contributed to construction efficiency and the quality of the final result.
Personalized technical and commercial support: The company offered technical and commercial support throughout the construction process, from the planning phase to execution. This included in-person and virtual visits, in addition to the use of the SH Digital platform to ensure transparency and effective communication between all parties involved. Material quality: Solutions with a superior finish, ensuring greater speed to execute the building’s concrete structure.

I have already worked with SH on another project and since then I have realized that the treatment, details, design, technical and commercial support are what sets SH apart. One of the points that made us close with SH as well, in addition to this past experience, was their material, which was very good, most of it first use, perfect material, without any deformation, resistant and that we know will give a better finish. I would recommend SH to companies that have both technical and scheduling challenges, as SH manages to have very technically safe solutions and also very fast assembly speeds, these are SH’s 2 biggest differentiators.
