Edge, in Fortaleza, Ceará, is a prominent development in the Brazilian construction industry. With 49 floors and a height of 151 meters, the high-end condominium combines innovative solutions and technical complexity that make it a benchmark in the country.

Among its distinguishing features are SkyDrive, the first car elevator in the Northeast, which allows residents to park directly at their apartments, as well as a helipad and a panoramic leisure area located 90 meters above the ground. All this innovation required robust engineering solutions and strategic partners to facilitate each stage of the project.

From the very first challenges, such as the construction of four basements in a water table area, the need for specialized technical support became clear. To meet Diagonal Engenharia’s needs, SH supplied state-of-the-art shoring equipment, such as LTT and LTT Extra towers over 70 meters high, as well as robust MD and W530 profiles, which enabled overhangs of up to ten meters outside the building’s projection.

The construction of the panoramic pavement was a milestone, requiring precise sizing and constant monitoring by SH’s technical team. Close collaboration with the client, project review, and the pursuit of customized solutions ensured not only safety and feasibility, but also deadline compliance and peace of mind for the construction company.
