Lux Design Living: Challenging project with custom shoring solutions in Belém

Each project has unique characteristics that require special attention from the planning stage. In the Lux Design Living project, the major challenge was developing a shoring design capable of meeting the complex architectural and structural requirements defined by the client.

From the outset, the SH design team worked collaboratively, meticulously studying the specific characteristics of the structure, which featured varying levels of support and a very limited shoring area. To overcome these constraints, a custom design was necessary, including the use of post-shoring support points and load compatibility on up to two or three lower floors.

Among the technical solutions applied, the following stand out:

SH100 trusses, offering stability and high load capacity;

Aluminum and metal profiles, ensuring strength yet lightweight, facilitating assembly and disassembly;

LTT load towers, providing safety and flexibility to cover large spans and heights.

Besides the precise sizing of the equipment, one of the distinguishing features was the collaborative effort between SH, the designers, and the construction team at Quadra Engenharia, a longtime partner. This collaboration was essential to ensure clarity and accuracy in the design process, enabling safe and efficient assembly on site.

Another key factor was the constant presence of SH’s technical team during the project, closely monitoring each stage, answering questions, and adjusting details in real time. This close proximity was crucial to ensuring safety, quality, and meeting deadlines, even with a complex project scope.

Seeing the project come to fruition with complete adherence to plan was a source of satisfaction for both SH and the client, who emphasized the importance of the partnership and the high level of technical expertise applied to the project.
